Not much for lo and mid band signals but around 1330 utc high band came
alive with hets on almost every channel. 1566 South Korea was good (sync
detector) numerous times, lasting minutes from about 1330 utc to antenna
switch at 1345 utc, then faded up again to weaker level. 1566 China also
heard underneath HLAZ, also lasting minutes though nowhere near as
strong. At 1345 HLAZ pattern switch it was clearly heard until HLAZ new
program came on, louder than China. No expanded band today. Sunrise 1354
utc.
594 Japan 1338 utc talk very poor
972 S Korea 1340 utc talk very poor/poor--not many fadeups today; 1400
utc pips and chime very poor
1386 Japan 1400 utc chime very poor
1413 China 1400 utc chime faint/very poor ("C" note)
1566 S Korea HLAZ 1312 utc, 1330 utc, 1346 utc--all poor (sync det)
1566 China 1348 utc very poor/poor underneath HLAZ
1575 Thailand? 1345 utc talk very poor
1584 China? 1342 utc traces of talk
1593 China? 1344, 1347 utc talk very poor
