[IRCA] PNG X-band beacons

Further to studying the excellent resource you mention, Bruce (
worldaerodata.com), it's clear to me that the airport at Ust-Bolsheretsk is
closed. The NDB is probably used for helicopter traffic now. All this
discussion re NDBs got me wondering about PNG beacons in the X-band. We
used to regularly hear GA in Goroka on 1725 and KUT, especially, on 1737
from Kumul Platform, but it's been years since I've seen any reports for
ANY PNG X-band beacons. Is it that we're no longer looking, or that
they're gone (although all still listed in the website above), or that
they're no longer audible? Anyone hearing PNG anymore??? Walt
