Re: [IRCA] Old school logging

While I have had the means to put my logs on the web, I've often felt that the number of people who would be interested ( especially in logs that would now be almost considered 'ancient history' ) couldn't justify the effort, and especially so if I wanted to link to recordings.

I would probably consider it further if I were more active, but a noisy location and no suitable place for an outdoor antenna have precluded that. And even so, I've still not yet completed a now years-long project to convert my old NJ taped ID's to mp3.

Although I'll be retiring at year end, my wife has plans to take up any new free time that will create :-{

It is a very interesting discussion. No one is coming off like their way is
best.  I can see that personal interests drive the method. QSLing, on-line
sharing, personal record keeping, etc.

Like the other Russ, I also think  non cloud based storage (external hard
drive/thumb drive) is good idea even if your confidence in cloud storage is
high.  One on site and one off site has always been my preference.  Easy to
do.
