As Dennis and Nigel mentioned, best Asian morning of the season, meaning
that I was finally hearing some second tier Japanese
stations....improvement as sunrise approached, and little sign of DUs



pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at
least briefly):

774 JOUB  English lessons 1311UT
828 JOBB English lessons 1312UT
972 HLCA man and woman in Korean 1320UT


Reasonable audio  at  times during the period (much of it understandable by
a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):


594 JOAK man and woman in Japanese 1310UT
747 JOIB English lessons 1314UT
1242 JOLF man in Japanese 1346UT; not as strong by 1400UT, but distinctive
cuckoo pips still recognizable
1566 HLAZ woman in Japanese 1322UT, another woman agreeing



not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise
could be understood by a native speaker:

693 JOAB English lessons 1313UT facing off the 690 splatter
954 JOKR assumed, two men in Japanese 1352UT
1287 JOHR assumed with woman and man in Japanese 1345UT


Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at
by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

558 HLQH man talking //603 1328UT;
567 JOIK man and woman /594 1313UT
603 HLSA  definite ID with distinctive chimes and pips 1300UT
675 rap music 1350UT not //NHK1....RNZ National?
756 woman talking DU English intonation 1333UT

909 quiet music 1353UT; Star?

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
