[IRCA] TP 5 Sept Victoria version

That made up for yesterday's lack of DUs....a couple of Asians earlier pretty much, and one or two later.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

not quite today

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

594 JOAK man in Japanese 1314UT, presumed 3WV mumbling far underneath
612 4QR man talking //774 1315UT
774 3LO pips, fanfare, ABC news, 1300UT
774 JOUB English lessons 1204UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

702 likely Magic? although ABC pips and fanfare on hour, pop vocal took over at 1301UT, while ABC continued underneath
828 3GI man talking //594 1247UT
891 man in DU English 1324UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

558 Fiji? island vocals 1320UT
567 likely RNZ National...man talking DU English inflection, 1303-04UT, not // various ABC, assumed NZ
576 2NR weak pips and fanfare, man talking 1300UT
594 3WV man talking //828 1253UT
675 woman talking Du English inflection 1316UT; no parallels-- RNZ?
702 2BL man talking //774, one second ahead, 1253UT
792 4RN instrumental music woman talking //576 1305UT
828 JOBB pips 1200UT, start of English lessons
909 slow choral music 1317UT, Star?
972 HLCA pips 1200UT, portentous music, then man talking, KK inflection
1116 man talking, DU English inflection 1325UT
1323 the DU that got away: slow vocal music 1317-18UT
1395 another DU that got away; woman and man talking, DU English inflection 1321UT; no ZB parallels available.
1539 man talking rapidly, DU English inflection, TAB? 1319UT
1566 woman talking , Japanese inflection 1313UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

 747 seemed to be Asian;
  603 621 738 756 845 855 882 1098 1359 1386 1503 1548 1611 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick
