[IRCA] TP 19 Aug Victoria version
Sort of a laid back morning, mostly DU and low band.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
612 4QR woman talking with man on phone, DU English 1312, briefly at
this level.
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
756 RNZ National most likely, man in DU English, then woman 1307-09UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
the above passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
603 rhythmic music 1315-6UT; assumed Waatea
702 2BL man talking //612 1222UT
774 3LO DU man talking, sports?, //612 1141UT
774 man talking Japanese inflection 1132UT; woman Japanese inflection 1209UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
828 seemed to be Asian;
558 576 585 594 621 675 738 1098 1548 seemed to be DU
best wishes,
