Key curiously named. Manasota combination of Manatee & Sarasota, adjoining counties whose line lies forty miles to our north. Manasota Key spans Sarasota and Charlotte counties. So, why not "Saralotte" or "Charlasota" Key? Chamber of Commerce could promote as "Saralotte - Kennedy-free Camelot". Marketing masterstroke.
DX-wise, electrically quiet, little/no ix from power lines & other RF emitters. Great window through which to peer into central & western Cuba.
Bert - Appreciate kind sentiments & observation re net. Interviewed Gennifer Flowers, election day '92. She employed smart strategy. Shout early, do so until termites stop 'doing things'. Being all over internet is effective way to showcase post-90's societal carcinoma.
