Once again, no hint of any DU activity. Japan was the winner today. Noted
NHK2 with what sounded like Arabic lessons after 15:00, but clearly
Brazilian Portuguese after 15:20, the nominal sign-off. Instead, signed
off at 15:35. I love Masset for the armchair copy, I get! Next were the
Koreans, followed in strength by Chinese. Overall, a little down from
yesterday, although the post LSR was excellent. I have to admit, I'm a
little surprised by the total absence of any DU. Also, no hint of Russia
on 531. Only Japan, very strong at 13:45 tune-in. Plenty of Perseus wav
files today, in case anyone needs me to dig!
Last evening, Iceland was well heard, even though I heard nothing on MW
from Europe unlike the evening before where 1215 was well heard, but only
briefly, while 189 was only fair.
