[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 3-24

Once again the Japanese big guns on 594, 693, 747 and 774 pounded in with serious force during sunrise enhancement, while the Koreans on 972 and 1566 had their usual potent moments as well. Unlike yesterday the second-tier Koreans on 603 and 657 were relatively subdued, though, but 738-BEL2 managed its best signal here since the fall season (all on a 5" FSL antenna). Haven't seen any other TP reports, so maybe it was another WA/ BC propagation exclusive?

594-JOAK and 693-JOAB were the main stars of the session, with both very vibrant at my 1320 start time (along with 1566-HLAZ's Japanese service). 972-HLCA was in and out of "Freedom 970," but generally pretty potent as well. Sunrise enhancement around 1340 boosted up 738-BEL2 to a fair level in and out, but didn't seem to do much for the other second-tier regulars on 603 or 657, or the high band TP's on 1575 and 1593. 1134-JOQR rode the Japanese-slanted propagation to a brief good level during sunrise enhancement, but the main attraction here during that period was 738-BEL2's Chinese pop music program, with the usual female announcer quite legible after the 740-Frisco splatter bit the dust around 1340. It was quite a thrill to track this down on an antenna not much larger than an Ultralight radio.

594 JOAK Tokyo, Japan Very good level Japanese female speech at 1322; along with 693-JOAB's Chinese lesson, the strongest signal of the session

738 BEL2 Penghu, Taiwan The usual Chinese female announcer at a fair level after pop music at 1353; best signal here so far in 2017
