I feel your carrier on 747 was probably JOIB.  Although there is a possibility it was 4QS, Toowoomba.  

Too bad you have can't hear JOUB 774 as it's the most reliable TP here.  I often joke it's my local NHK outlet

I agree about V7AB.  I'm always surprised how well WTAM is heard here.

I haven't tried to hear the X-band Aussies.  I guess I need to give it a try using the R75 and ALA1530LNP.
