[IRCA] TP 10 Mar Victoria version

That was a more interesting morning than at first glance. Signal strengths were very erratic, so odd channels would appear out of nowhere then disappear again. This happened from 1300UT, but primarily after 1400UT, then suddenly fell apart at 1424UT.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

594 JOAK man in Japanese 1410UT
747 JOIB woman in Japanese 1327UT
774 JOUB man in Japanese pretty solid from 1319-21UT
828 JOBB man in Japanese 1326UT briefly at this level

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

567 JOIK man in Japanese 1418UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

864 soul music with heavy bass line 1337UT, woman talking sounded more Japanese than Korean, but hard to tell because not as strong during periods of talk
891 JOHK man in Japanese 1344UT
972 HLCA man in Korean 1406UT
1422 JORF man in Japanese with woman agreeing, briefly stronger at 1411UT
1566 HLAZ man in Chinese 1415UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

558 HLQH woman and man talking 1419-20UT //603 which was weaker
603 HLSA woman talking 1421-2UT, now stronger than //558
612 JOLK man talking //594 1420UT, but better on west Flag
693 JOAB man in Japanese //828 1327UT
702 NHK2 man talking //774 1340UT
729 JOCK man talking //594 1324UT
837 JOQK woman talking //594 1339UT
1134 man and woman talking, Japanese inflection 1404UT
1242 man talking Japanese inflection 1412UT
1287 man talking Japanese inflection 1342UT
1314 man talking excitedly 1415UT, Japanese inflection?
1494 man talking Japanese inflection 1423UT better on north Flag

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

648 666 738 819 846 873 909 918 954 1053 1098 1116 1143 1179 1188 1386 1503 1593 seemed to be Asian; 1116 likely DU?

best wishes,

Nick
