[IRCA] TP 12 Feb Victoria version
Mostly Asia today, with a couple of Chinese showing up.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
774 JOUB man in Japanese, almost a chant 1423UT
1566 HLAZ woman in Chinese 1515UT.
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
747 JOIB anthem at 1535UT, a few minutes early today
828 JOBB English lessons 1501-5UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
594 JOAK NHK1 theme music 1511, man in Japanese
972 HLCA man in Korean 1507UT
1287 JOHR man in Japanese 1536UT, into pop ballad
1593 CNR1 man in Chinese //6125 1514UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
567 JOIK man talking //594 1420UT
945 CNR1 woman talking, Chinese inflection //1593 1534UT
1017 ballad 1414UT, not //NHK2, assumed CRI
1422 heavy bass music, then woman talking, Japanese inflection 1512UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
558 657 864 891 918 1242 1314 1377 1386 1404 1458 1494 1503 1557
1575 seemed to be Asian; 702 1098 likely DU
best wishes,
Nick
