[IRCA] TP 10 Feb Victoria version
A bit more interest this morning. The big guns popped in an out
mostly weakly from 1300UT onwards, with a bit of a pre-sunrise
lift. Most interesting was a likely 4KZ-531 when not much else was
happening about an hour before sunrise.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ woman in Japanese mentioning FEBC then fading up to this
level by 1336UT. It didn't get nearly this strong just before sunrise
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
531 4KZ? man with forecasts for various Australian cities...hot!,
41C in Canberra, ouch. Presumably some sort of network feed. Peaked 1432UT
774 JOUB man in Japanese, peaking 1510UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
the above passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
594 JOAK man talking, sounded Japanese, 1511UT
612 man talking, DU English inflection 1516-7, fair bit better on
west Flag, likely 4QR
747 JOIB man talking seemed Japanese and parallel to even weaker 774 1515UT
828 JOBB man talking 1526UT //774
954 man and woman talking, Japanese inflection, 1534UT, better on north Flag
1116 man talking DU English inflection, 1308UT,
presumed 4BC. Exactly the same peak time as yesterday, as was
594....interesting.
1287 man talking, Japanese inflection 1507UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
567 972 1242 seemed to be Asian; 891 1098 likely DU
best wishes,
Nick
