[IRCA] TP 9 Feb Victoria version
Mostly an underpowered morning....with a bright flash or
two. Seemed to be two short openings, one around 1310UT, then
another two hours later, and not very exciting.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not today
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
612 4QR man in DU English, then into country music (no, it's not
Saturday night) 1509-10UT; ABC radio mentioned at 1512UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
the above passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
594 JOAK man talking, sounded Japanese, clinched with NHK1 theme music 1510UT
1116 man talking DU English inflection, 1308UT, presumed 4BC
1566 man talking 1308UT, then woman speaking over music, the latter
with a definite Japanese inflection, so assumed HLAZ.
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
567 747 828 seemed to be Asian; 531 576 likely DU
best wishes,
Nick
