All times and dates strictly UT. Rx: mostly DX-398 with internal antenna only or PL-880; NRD-545 with ALA-330S inside E-W or inside randomwire N-S; Nissan stock caradio as specified; ICR-75Â E-W longwire

** MEXICO. 720, Dec 10 at 0157, ``Continuamos en El FonÃgrafo 700-20 AM`` non-ID, overcoming WGN, another Chicagoan attenuated by auroral conditions. When this happens I keep hoping to hear something deeper, such as R. CatÃlica in Nicaragua; El FonÃgrafo is only XEJCC Ciudad JuÃrez, Chihuahua, 25 kW daytimer until 0200 per IRCA Mexican Log 2015; 1 kW per WRTH 2016, both as ``Extremo 720``. Let`s hope both catch up with current name in new editions out shortly (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** MEXICO. 780, Dec 10 at 0134, Spanish station is over WBBM in auroral conditions, plug for a torneo de pesca (fishing tournament), federal PSAs, non-ID as ``La Poderosa, 103.7 FM, 780-AM``, into music. That all fits for XESFT, San Fernando, Tamaulipas, 5/1 kW. Also mentioned Victoria, i.e. the state capital, Ciudad Victoria; on the NRD-545 with fixed antenna; at 0156 recheck on the rotatable DX-398, separable from WBBM (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Pacific JBA MW carrier search, December 15, UT:
 594-NW at 1335
 747-NW at 1335
 774-NW at 1338 - this one is now tougher due to continuous music splash instead of talk from 780 KSPI Stillwater OK
1098-W at 1340
1566-NW at 1341, strongest of the lot, but still no audio
Enid sunrise today: 1336 UT; will reach latest circa January 6 at 1343 (meanwhile, earliest sunset already passed a week ago at 2316 UT, creeping later now) (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
