Re: [IRCA] TP Report 11/29- WOW!! [w/ Stations IDed]
Paul, I just noticed your report today and because all your IDs are really
simple, I wanted to match your clips with the correct stations. Maybe it'll
put them in context for other people as they are much less interesting as
just frequencies with no location or information. Even your off-air
stations - both Yanbian ones - were easy IDs. Basically your whole list are
my skywave locals - every station.

** Correction: 657 is the Pyongyang Broadcasting flagship station :) **
KCBS 657 good signal and no splatter from KFAR 660 (10kw, 300 miles to my
east)
657 audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aHi3q6e8TE
** NHK Radio 1 Osaka JOBK-AM playing a Haruo Minami song **
666: Pretty good signal, sounded similar to 729 (see below)
666 audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nb72jcGieGA
** NHK Radio 1 Nagoya JOCK-AM playing a Haruo Minami song **
729: Overall, pretty good signal with male singer.
729 audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fa2bNMSyeIg
** Jilin Comprehensive News Radio playing a Rynn Lim song **
738: Music with a pretty good signal, something is heardslightly under it.
738 audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZ0Ljz4iSrw
** KCBS Pyongyang, as we know - though both your links are the same **
819: Noisy, crappy signal but a bit of Pyongyang in there.
819 audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMahmFSBDdU
819 about a half an hour later with the Video Game Jammer very evident
819 audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMahmFSBDdU
** NHK Radio 1 Hokkaido (1kw) or Niigata (10kw) **
837 Fair to good signal with man talking, another man talking under him.
837 audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9sWrbw-UVA
** KBS 1 Radio Gangneung **
864: A bit of a noisy signal but easily understandable, listenable music.
The speech was modulated a bit lower then the music and not quite as
easily
understood
864 audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3NYTZyRJj8
** KCBS / Pyongyang Broadcasting time-share, Sinuiju **

stations.
873 audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUdYKu95GTo

1008 Good signal with a woman talking.
1008 Audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFCvioixLW0
