[IRCA] TP 28 Nov Victoria version

A bit more entertaining around sunrise this morning, and perhaps not quite so much earlier. HLAZ was at its strongest around 1700UT today, no longer really qualifying for sunrise enhancement (coffee break enhancement perhaps?)

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

594 JOAK man in Japanese 1533UT
972 HLCA man in Korean 1507UT
1566 HLAZ Christmas carols, man in Korean 1651-3UT, more carols a little weaker, 1702UT, then slow fade out, and pretty much gone by 1710UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

774 JOUB woman in Japanese, then man 1501UT //828
828 JOBB as above //above

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

612 4QR woman in DU English 1504UT
738 lively pop music assumed Tahiti, 1321UT
747 JOIB NHK pips, woman in Japanese 1500U
1593 CNR1 man and woman in Chinese //6125, briefly at this level 1547UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

567 JOIK man talking //594 1502UT
1179 man and woman talking 1509UT Japanese inflection
1242 pop music 1523UT
1287 man talking, Japanese inflection 1518UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter) lots of near audio here

621 855 891 945 954 1089 1098 1107 1134 1206 1314 1323 1422

best wishes,

Nick
