The signal path between here and JOUB, Akita, Japan, passes near Pilot Point AK and north of Vancouver Island before entering CONUS near Spokane WA.  It's a distance of 9723 kilometers (6041 miles).  Yet JOUB is the easiest to receive Asian signal here, audible many mornings from September to April.
