I live in Boone, Iowa. And yes. The antenna farm just to the west of I35 is
the one I am talking about. At least one, but I believe two, of the tornados
passed between it and Madrid. At least one of them, then continued north
past Luther, and passed between Boone and Ames. It past between Boone and
Ames just before the start of the ISU football game. This caused a bunch of
people who were already seated at the stadium to be temporarily evacuated to
some other building on the campus. But Iowa football fans are dedicated, and
they were back in their seats for the start of the game. The local paper
mentioned a couple of fans, who, after the game, returned home, to find their
home gone.
