[IRCA] TP 13 Oct Victoria version

A mix again of big gun Asia and Australia, with the band above about 
1200kHz almost completely dead save for a burst from 1242.   Some 
samples recorded earlier in the morning indicated a more Asian 
flavor, also big guns, though Tahiti was quite strong about 0800UT.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, 
at least briefly):

several were close, but the winnah:
612 4QR man talking 1408UT; earlier parallels with 702


Reasonable audio  at  times during the period (much of it 
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

576 2RN woman and man DU English peaking at 1359UT, as jazz started, 
and by then //621 also
702 2BL man and woman DU English //612 o/pop music 1354UT
774 JOUB Chinese lessons 1355UT
1053 Korean jammer 1355UT



not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or 
noise could be understood by a native speaker:

594 JOAK woman in Japanese 1420UT
621 3RN "ABC news" by man after fanfare 1400UT
747 JOIB man in Japanese //774 1409UT
828 JOBB  English lessons 1417UT
1116 man talking  DU English 1418UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be 
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in 
talk or music)


567 JOIK woman in Japanese //594 1455UT, noted as early as 0800UT as well
594 3WV man on phone //612 1359UT
738 2NR two male talkers, one //612
792 man sounding like DU English 1407UT
954 man talking, sounding Japanese 1403UT
1242 pop music 1415UT, then woman talking, Japanese inflection?



Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or 
ravaged by splatter) lots of near audio here
