Re: [IRCA] TPs this morning/graveyarders

So here's silly for you.  When I go to bed, I have my headphones on with some frequency that I have uncarefully selected.  If something comes in, the voice recorder is right next to the radio.  If nothing is there, the lull of a graveyard is sure to put me to sleep in a few minutes.  I thought you'd get a laugh out of that one.

When I turn on the radio, I check eastern, northern, and TP characteristics.  Vancouver was equal with Dinuba on 1130, Calgary and Tempe on 1060, nothing coming in from Alaska, no hets, no WHO, no WOAI, no KRVN.  The best I could hope for would be a graveyard poking his 250-watt head up.  The sleep was more important.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. See... you get used to the good stuff and nothing else will do.  Instead of counting sheep Mike, tune into 1400 for a half dozen hours.  How many of you folks out there actually make a point to avoid the graveyarders?, hi.  I do sometimes, but I go through periods where that's all I dwell on. It's a a challenge sometimes.  I got a tenative on 1400 KJOK-Yuma a few days ago, but I'm not absolutely positive. Oh the pain....<smile>

Ugh!  It was so quiet by 1300 UTC that I gave up the ghost and went to bed.  The only hets then were 774, 828 and 891, and there was only audio on 774.
