Thanks Pat, Kaz, Nigel, Mike, everyone... I think it's KOIL too. Yesterday
I was going off my latest cache of Lee Freshawater's AM list and it didn't
have the update of KKSE-NE (1kW day) to KOIL w/ 50kW day. I listened around
5:30 this morning. WHO was in (w/ K-Love in OR nulled), and on 1020 under
KTNQ and ESPN (KWIQ-WA) was a program talking about "firefighters here in
Omaha". FCC shows the day pattern goes basically West... it's got to be
them. I'll try 1020 again tomorrow, and maybe Grand Island on 750 may come
through too.
It's been fun DXing again hearing stations from all over, even if they're
not TAs, hi. This morning KKAT-UT on 860 was all alone in KTRB null w/
Country Legends 107.5 ID; this is the best I've ever heard this station
whatever the calls. KCPW-UT on 1010 was by itself in a tight null from
CBC-1010 Calgary w/full ID at 6 (7 am TC MST). CKUA-580 was in with
Classical mx but faded bringing up Salmon Arm. Talk was under local
KSTE-650, probably KGAB. Ended the session with strong SS on 730 looping
East, was hoping for KSVN-UT but KCBS-740 IBOC came on and hash was the new
sound in my headphones...
