Distant things in nice and early tonite. KOFI 1180 noted thru WHAM phase
null just prior to 7 PM CDT. By 7:30 KDJQ 890 was nicely in WLS phase null
with Mexican mx. 15 minutes later KDXU was also in there, and maybe KDXU
switched late since I IDed them later at 8:06 (KDJQ drops instantly at 8 PM
switch). On 700 most interesting was a mention of ESPN game night by and
ESPN ancr. u/tough to phase WLW (groundwave skip combo). This is most likely
KXLX from Spokane area, but attempts at something more positive proved
fruitless.
On 860 Victoria Taft's destinctive voice was noted as early as 8:14 in mess
w/CJBC phased out. She was nicely atop taped at 8:25 placing a phone call to
Dayton about some racist Black guy. " Hi this is Victoria Taft calling from
K-Pam in Portland."
I believe my attempts to catch KIRO with WOR phased and using LSB to
minimize bad WGN slop resulted in only KCMO far over ranchera mx (likely
XEDP) but will recheck my tape.
