Patrick,

Looking back at the product description, you're right, AM/FM/SW, no 
SSB.  I thought I had read somewhere it had it, but I must have confused 
info on some other radio.  That sheds a different light on my thinking.  
I may have to reconsider which portable best suites my needs.
