[IRCA] Tom Cheek (1939-2005)

Legendary (well IMHO he is right up there with Jack Buck, Red Barber, etc.) 
Blue Jays broadcaster passed away yesterday at age 66..

Cheek called _4306_ consecutive regular season Blue Jays games, from the 
team's inception in 1977 until June 2004.. 27 seasons! Cheek's streak blows 
Cal Ripken away!!

His "Touch 'em all Joe!!!" call of Joe Carter's 1993 World Series winning 
home run may be the second most memorable moment in Canadian sports 
broadcasting -- second only to Foster Hewitt's "He shoots he scores" call of 
Paul Henderson's winning goal in the 1972 Canada-Russia series.
