Yes; he was a very active and very good DXer in the late 1960s/early
1970s. At that time he DXed from Lincoln. He wrote a number of
articles for the DX News and, as I remember, arranged a DX Test from
KRVN. Later on, he moved to Hickory, NC and must have found other
pursuits as he disappeared from DX view. Don't specifically remember
any beverage work he did, tho.
