I still have on 12-655 out of three that I used to have (2 failed years ago) 
I recall one I'd modified with somewhat better filters, per am article in an 
old IRCA tech manual I think. I also had modified it for connecting and 
external antenna.

My TRF is a very good portable and I think only a 2010 would outperform it.

Honestly I would not sell my TRF for $100 now..and I doubt $200 would do the
