[IRCA] Kevin, you trickster! (was: Eye bock)

To reduce my blood pressure and customize this list to my particular
tastes, I have set up a filter in my email client to automatically trash
any email that mentions IBOC in the subject line. I have now added
several list members to my filters also, including the two who have been
most prolific on this subject on this list over the last 18 hours.
Email from those members - on any topic now and in the future - goes
straight in the heap and is unseen by me.

Eventually, when I get the time, I'm going to make other filters to
automatically forward messages from particular members to particular
mailboxes I create. For instance, I'm VERY interested in DX, antennas,
phasing, etc., so messages from Mark Connelly, Kaz, Craig Healy, etc.
will be sent to a special mailbox I'll call "Super DXers."

Messages from Lynn or Phil will be sent straight to an IRCA-Admin box so
I'll know where and when to pick up SDXM, etc.

I'm going to filter-IN these people and create buddy lists to harvest
some good content this way, and still be able to filter-OUT much of the
drivel.

I will miss DX-related messages from filtered-OUT members, but I don't
care. I have declared them to be "personas non grata" in my inbox, and
I love it! They can continue to waste electrons, as Kevin has so aptly
put it, but at least they'll not waste MY electrons, ha ha.

But...then...a smartypants comes along and types "eye bock" in the
subject line. The "eye bock" message sneaks through my "IBOC" filter,
just like \/iagRa passes email server filters designed to catch viagra spam.

Kevin, you dirty rat!

ha ha

p.s. Anyone need some spare electrons? I seem to have a few more around
these days...lol
