Agreed on both counts.
 
The Cubans seem to be hopping right over south Florida this evening.  Many usually strong ones are in a noisy jumble tonight. 
 
So much so even the dependable 680 R.Progreso Wobbler is weak and slugish tonight.  However 870 R.Reloj is providing some wobbling back-up.  Neither seem to have the gumption to make it beyond the state line though.

Okay, some obligatory DX notes... conditions are generally poor here, with
signal levels considerably below normal, but at 2230 EDT, some LAs are
emerging from the weeds:
 
600 Rebelde, nearly alone
770 Rebelde noted u/WABC, // to stronger signals on 600, 670 and 710.
780 R Coro in at times with a so-so signal
860 Reloj bothering CJBC
890 Progreso all over WLS
910 UnID SS on top, likely Cuban
