Re: [IRCA] IBOC DX'ing

Hi Patrick,

Temper banked. Didn't flare. This doesn't anger. It enlightens, like suspect transcripts. Ask a question? Receive overblown defensive reply. Telling. Broadcasters describe peers coerced to promote HD who admit after hours 'its their job if they don't'. Why promote valid products by coercion? Everyone supports true innovations that cause no interference.

That's the flaw that sends IBOC promoters into paroxysms of frenzied denial. Why the denial? Why not fix the problem?

The demagoguing of those who question HD needs no further illustration from undersigned worthless scribe. HD promoters are past masters of it. First it's 'not of radio'. Then enters Edgar Alan Poe. Dare one consider the next reply? Will stop now on peril of one's soul.

Cars come in all sizes. As with radio, subject to federal standards. Some drive SUV's. Some drive subcompacts. None denies others' right to drive. Cars all fit within one lane.

Imagine the uproar if an auto maker ignored routine questions, dismissed legitimate concerns, and repeated overblown claims of innovation to justify a new car glomming three lanes. That's what grates. Intent obvious. Denial tedious.

Will not speak of this again. It's dull. Facts clear. Weeds await tender affections.
