Re: [IRCA] IRCA and NRC

Forgive my lack of knowledge about the history of both clubs. For the
reasons
cited, it seems unlikely that the two clubs would ever merge. However, we
can hope for a change of heart from the BoD on the future of this
list and the DX Tips list. I think both of them are too valuable to lose.

While the list generates no revenue for the club, it does serve to
attract new members and give people a near real time forum for
relaying information.

As one of the people who has a frequent need to "cross post" news of
DX tests, station maintenance, etc. I hate the idea of having even
more lists that I need to subscribe to.

In my case, it involves having to wade through daily e-mail that I often
don't care about, just to maintain the privilege of being able to post
when needed.

This decision should not have been made in a vacuum, and has one of
the volunteers who will be directly impacted by it, I'm upset that I
was not at least consulted.

In the meantime, can someone repost the addresses for the new lists
that have been created? I might has well get around to subscribing to
them now.
