Re: [IRCA] [ABDX] SF117 A22 K5

Title: SF117 A22 K15
The geomagnetic storm began at approximately 1200 UTC this morning when the solar wind abruptly increased to 800+ km/s. The latest Kp index is a 7 and climbing, however visible aurora will not occur until the Bz swings negative. Initially it swung strongly in the plus range and is now steadily shifting towards negative. You can see the Bz at http://www.sec.noaa.gov/SWN/sw_dials.gif .
