1620 (TIS) "WKQV," Parkland; sporadically active.  Moved from 1610 to 1620 kHz
in early March, 2004 per D. Crawford observation.  Reported as having moved to
a fishing camp near Coral Springs, but quickly confirmed as dis-information.
Uses a wire off of a 40-foot tower.  Very professional, good studio equipment,
includes "Payphone Call Challenge" with give-away prizes.  First noted in
March, 2002 by T. Simon, airing "KQV" Oldies format, with 50s-60s jingles that
apparently came from KQV in Pittsburgh, and playing stuff like the Tornadoes'
"Telstar", with recorded announcement giving 954 area code (Broward County)
number. Signal was quite good in Boca.  With all the micros down this way, it's
still a rarity to find one on the AM band.
