Dear DX friends around the world: I learned yesterday that my father
has inoperable cancer of the pancreas. It is the worst cancer there is and
is extremely hard to detect. When detected it has usually already spread to
other organs. That is what has happened to him. He has a relatively
short time to live so I will be spending as much quality time with him as
possible. He lives 260 miles away so I'll be on the road a lot.
Under normal circumstances I receive more e-mails from these two lists than
I have time to read. To prevent my inbox from overflowing and causing problems
while I'm away from home I will be temporarily unsubscribing from these two
lists. I don't know how long I'll be gone. If you want to contact me you can
write but I can't promise to get back to you right away.
If all goes well I will be attending the IRCA convention in Anaheim at the
end of the month. I hope to see lots of you there.
73 and good DX,
Dennis
