Have you tried eBay? Drake R8's frequently show up there. In fact 2 were
listed this morning, a R8 and a R8B. There's also an Icom R-7000 listed. I
know some people are sceptical of eBay, but I have bought 4 receivers there
and been satisfied with each one.
