Re: [IRCA] DX TIPS for WDXR plus 1340 question

Hi Doug,

KVSN is a pest here days being only 80 miles from Tumwater. When they
moved from 1500 to 1340 years ago, they took over the old KAPA Raymond
frequency. KAPA was much stronger only 40 miles away, so I was glad of
the move. Now I hear KLOO and KBBR on 1340 days too.
How far are you from KLOO? They sound strong by what you say. The ground
conductivity in the valley is much more than here. Once a GYer gets more
than 10 miles away, it is generally in the jumble at night on the coast.
1230 Astoria are 7 miles in right on the line at night as you can hear a
lot of stuff under them all of the time, but they can be earily phased
or nulled.
