Re: [IRCA] 640 KFI question

Patrick,

I don't think KXNT runs it at night.  I can get in to 830 and 850 very well (850 as well as can be expected considering my proximity to KTRB).  I also can pick up Eugene and 24 Mile House (rarely) on 840 while KXNT is on.  I don't think KFI is using IBOC at night either, as 630 and 650 are alive and kicking.  I would think that KSTE/650 (70 miles out) and a KFI IBOC would create an ungodly mess.

I mentioned last week that KEX IBOC was completely taking out 1180 and 1200 here before sunset.  I am gauging my comments above based on this observation.  There are no issues noted here on adjacents of 640 or 840.

Doug,

I don't notice anything here. If KFI is using IBOC at night, they
shouldn't be. But Las Vegas 840 seems to run it 24/7 though.
