Re: [IRCA] List of IBOC stations

I sure wish I could say that. I have several public radio stations to choose
from, but reception of my station of choice (KCRU-89.1; a KCRW satellite
about 40 miles from here) has become much more difficult since a local
second adjacent (KQSC-88.7; a KUSC satellite) fired up their IBOC. I mainly
listen while I'm in the shower in the morning and before the IBOC came on I
had no problems using my very early vintage Superadio III. My newly acquired
III isn't as sensitive on FM. There are two local public radio stations but
the one with the best signal (KSBX-89.5, transmitting from the same site as
KQSC) has a somewhat odd frequency response that's normally just mildly
annoying. There must be some conflict with the frequencies put out by the
running water because it's a lot harder to understand than KCRU, which is a
fair amount weaker. I just tried my backup Superadio II but surprisingly
it's no better (or worse). Maybe a dipole would give me more options for
antenna placement; this is a very small room.
