For what it is worth, if my memory serves me, there are fewer counterpoise wires to
the Northeast and the East at the site than other directions. Perhaps that could
explain more skywave in those directions. Interesting speculation anyway.
Additionally, another factor could be the skip distance and the differences in station
density between Alberta and Montana, when compared to Pat's location in Oregon.
In other words, maybe part of this could be explain by Pat having more stations to
wade through to pick up KSBN.
