Overloads horribly in town. Might be good in the middle of nowhere.

That said, it is the best WX radio for reception I have ever used and I have
used some AOR radios, GE radios, GRE radios, you name it for WX and if you
want a portable to DX the WX band, this is the one to get.

The rest of the radio is useless crap.
