Re: [IRCA] Two Thoughts About IBOC

Agree,

But radial keratotomy doesn't kill chemo survivors. Mr. Ford didn't arrange crony legislation mandating wholesale slaughter of horses so as to clear the road for his cars. Development of weather radar didn't require you to discard your barometer. Where's the progress with something bringing ruin to a long developed working system?

Why is FCC permitting harmful interference? IBOC is a cheesy 90's lie. Neither in-band nor on-channel, it is a self-serving contrivance rendering AM and FM unlistenable to all save for those who buy Ibiquity-licensed radios and listen to Clear Channel and other monopolists. It slops across bandwidth the cancer slops its way accross healthy tissue.

SleazBiz re NWS broadcasts follows same schematic. No coincidence. You want listen? You gotta pay. Way of the future. All else digitally jammed.

If interference is now legal, radio is finished. Unless of course one wishes to become a subscribing member of the 'Ibiquity family'.

It's still not too late. Our influence counts. Use it.
