With the low AU tonight of 1, DX conditions to the East have been
excellent.
1250 KKHK KS, Kansas City, good at times with "La Super Equis" IDs
at 0010 EDT 5/9, SS mx, on top of unid Black Gorpel station. (PM-OR)
1520 KOKC OK, Okla City, totally dominant on top of KGDD with wx
for Oklahoma City at 0004 EDT 5/9, KOKC ID tag. Best I have heard them
in a long time. (PM-OR)
1530 KZNX TX, Creedmoor, dominant over KFBK off Eastern beverage
with ESPN Sports talk at 0003 EDT 5/9. Later at 0110, caught a spot
mentioning Austin. They must be operating with listed 10 KW ND. What a
signal! Unneeded but nice to hear again. The last time I heard them was
with KFBK off and with 15 watts. (PM-OR)
1560 KLTI MO, Macon, good and dominant at 2359.40 EDT 5/8 with ID
out of nowhere "15-60 AM, KLTI Macon, Moberly, Kirksville. Your home for
Real Country". Into Randy Travis song, soon faded into jumble. Listed as
41 watts. New CP for night operation. New. I am pleased with a new one
on 1560.
Drake R8, Drake SPR4, Kenwood R1000,
1500' Eastern beverage
