[IRCA] Cholly-san Commentary

Cholly-san,

Will the new CAT-2005 PFM Unit actually fit under the door? Do I
still need the BC-221 freq. mtr. resting quietly at your humble abode? I'd
give it a go, again, in a minute. Fun time on Okinawa 1976-79!

>I used to do it in a big sort of way during my assignments (civilian and
>military) in the Far East.As Mike Hardester will attest (maybe if I slip
>him a little something under the door), the Far East at night was a mass
>of hets.

Folks, Charlie ain't kiddin' about hets....kind of like "they're
everywhere, they're everywhere." Still have my PFM log from Okinawa around
here somewhere. Will see if I can get the back-hoe in here and find it.

On a serious note, this may not sound too interesting, but this IS
radio history of which Charlie speaks and trust me, he knows the ins/outs
of the Asia/Oceania radio scene of yore.

Mike
