Re: [IRCA] Update on California Stations

Patrick,

When I was growing up, my favorite rock stations were KDON, KRLA and KOMA.  They all blasted in Northern California.  KOKC/KOMA is just noticeable under KVTO, KRLA still is dominant on 1110, and KABL/KDON is way under KUTI.  I can only get KRRS/1460 at sunset.  They don't even get out in the daytime.  On 1470, KIID/Sacramento is far weaker than Tijuana, and about even with Moses Lake and Palmdale.  I don't know where their signal goes.

Mike,

It is funny about 1460 Salinas. When they were 5/5 KW U2 for years,
their night time signal would blow everything away up here under the old
K-DON calls, a top 40 rocker. Now with their new pattern, they are rare
to hear. I think they protect Sacramento-1470 and 1460-Santa Rosa.
