That sounds right. I was EDXR editor until about August 1988, when I left Long Island for college in Columbia, Mo. Karl Zuk was EDXR editor before me, but I can't remember when I took over. Maybe '86 or so.

Ray,
You were my EDXR 
editor when I joined in 1988 -  I was living in AL at the time. I remember 
sending letters to you in NY. Was it not even 4 years? I seem to recall that the 
IRCA president then was either Karl or Bill Hardy - I *think* there had just 
been a transition from one to the other. I might have some time today - maybe I 
can dig up some of my first DXMs in the attic later today!

As far as when 
you first joined, I've had several members ask me questions about their join 
dates, and even as Secretary/Treasurer, I don't have that info - I don't know if 
it was ever kept, but it wasn't in what I received when I started in 2001. 
Although, for those that have joined since then, I now keep track of it - 
anticipating the future!
