Doug,
I make recordings with the same settings quite often, but because the signal is not a fixed thing, comparing for slight changes doesn't seem practical. From what I can tell though, the signal hasn't changed in any meaningful way since I began listening.
I'm still playing with the phaser and noise canceler, and how best to use them together. If you have any thoughts or ideas, bring 'em on.

Hi Curt,
I only got a second to ask if you've done this. Have you made recordings, noting all the settings and then compared them with more recent recordings with the same settings to compare the audio to? Not exactly a spectrum analyzer, but it may be something to try. I don't know what the results would dictate, besides consistancy???or lack of degeneration, such as a failing transmitter. Just thoughts. I'd like to talk with you further about the phaser and noise canceller combo, but have to go for now.
