Hi All... and Mr. Kashket too,
I live a little upstream from KAPL and they do have their power down times. 
Two nights ago, I think they powered down about 0300 PT or so.  They were 
un-nullable and when I came back they were virtually gone.  I haven't been 
sitting on the frequency, but I picked up KROP Brawley  several weeks ago 
and got a new one, KPTL, Carson City about the same time, so KAPL does power 
down when they feel like it.

In a few cases, looking at it from a different angle, leaving the power up 
can be beneficial to a few DX'ers, but I understand that theres a limit, hi.
