I do live here.  I figured that if you had your windshield wipers on, you would mesmerize oncoming drivers, causing their heads to flop back and forth in sync with the wipers.  Now, you have to turn on your headlights, thus blinding them instead, considering how many idiots automatically use their high beams.  I think the first person who gets a ticket should file a class action suit against auto manufacturers for not turning the lights on automatically when the wipers go on.

 

Is your DX on the north end of the bay area any better than Central Valley?  Its been pretty bad here, and from what I heard on the radio a few nights back, we are being bombarded by gamma ray bursts from deep space right now, which is messing up the ionosphere.  DX is almost nonexistent here at this time.
