Re: [IRCA] KFI on low power provides an added bonus

I think I sprained my ear digging them out.  The Richmond BC station was fading in and out, as was the SS.  I was able to get KENI clearly enough to ID only for about 30 seconds, luckily at the top of the hour.  WSM popped up with an ID in the middle of their regular programming, and was as much as a surprise.  The days of "easy Ws" seems to be long gone.  The only Ws I get with any regularity now are WHO and WOAI.  Long ago, in the days of "easier Ws", I was able to get WGY when KGO was off, and got both WPTF and WCAW when KNBR was off.  That was the last time I heard them off, back in 1981, though I assume I have missed some silent periods since then.  I still hope to find something new on 640 before it returns to normal.

Good going on logging KENI-650. They are not reported very often.
