This reminds me of conditions I experienced on December 14, 1996. Instead of hearing regular WIHM (then WTIM) on 1410, I was hearing WIZM LaCrosse, WI instead. I also heard KXEL Waterloo, IA over regular WSMI Litchfield, IL on 1540, WPAD Paducah, KY over KTUI Sullivan, MO on 1560, KMOZ Rolla, MO over WAIK Galesburg, IL on 1590, and even getting a weak signal from WHA Madison, WI (although it was too weak to get anything to identify) on 970 with WMAY nulled.
